This morning Núria Marín, the Mayoress of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat took part in a corporate breakfast organised by ASINCA and the Cámara de Contratistas de Obras de Cataluña (Chamber of Works Contractors of Catalonia) at Foment del Treball’s offices. Marín laid out the main investment projects for the second largest city in Catalonia.
The Mayoress noted that the City Council estimates €130m of investment in the 2016-2020 period for a city which welcomes a large number of infrastructures (underground metro line 10 and suburban trains). Marín explained that there is a €40m investment pending in order to finish underground metro line 10 and that she is still hoping to be able to complete a l’Hospitalet tunnel which would facilitate RENFE’s suburban rail connections by going through this strategic point in the metropolitan zone.
