Tribuna ASINCA held with Janet Sanz, Head of City Planning, Environment and Transport at Barcelona City Council.

The latest Tribuna ASINCA meeting was held on Thursday and enjoyed the participation of the Deputy Mayoress and Head of City Planning, Environment and Transport at Barcelona City Council, Janet Sanz. Sanz addressed ASINCA associates to explain the city council’s position on urban planning and public works. The Deputy Mayoress explained that the procurement model “of sharp economic downturns in finding contracts for public works” has been abandoned. Accordingly, she stated that the project in the Sagrera district “is key for improving the connection between districts and public transport”. Finally, Janet Sanz noted that the Council wants to encourage redevelopment and make Barcelona a “city in which to live”.
